He has a deep understanding of all things ArcGIS Server and Cloud Technologies. He also knows quite a bit about ArcIMS, ArcView 3.2 and Linux but keeps this part of his skill-set quiet.

Outside of work, he is a full-time volunteer for the humanitarian mapping charity, MapAction.’

Emma Sandison

She’s got ArcGIS 10.1 Desktop Associate certification and is also an RGS geography ambassador.

Her ‘grand design’ is trying to convert a farm steading/mill in the Scottish Borders into a home and she’s the proud owner of an old Massey Ferguson 590 tractor and a 3 ton dumper!

Robin Appleby

Robin has worked for Esri UK since the last millennium (well 1999) and has been working with and demonstrating ArcGIS since ArcView 3.2! He was therefore very pleased to achieve his Esri Desktop Professional certification last year!  Currently, the TSG Industry Lead for DNSPS (Defence, National Security and Public Safety), Robin has previously worked in the Commercial market team as both a pre-sales consultant and an account manager, so has a wide experience applying ArcGIS to the workplace.

Outside of work Robin is a busy dad, a deacon and youth club leader for his local Church, a keen golfer and a suffering fan of Nottingham Forest.

Mark Wells

Mark joined Esri UK in 2005 as a software developer and currently works as the Technical Lead for the Technical Solutions Group. He has extensive experience developing for the ArcGIS Server platform across the Web APIs and “fondly” remembers the more foundational WebADF (and further – ArcIMS!). Outside of work Mark plays a number of different musical instruments and is passionately involved with his local church.
